How do I unlock more restaurants?

You can unlock new restaurants by completing levels! Unlocking new restaurants allows you to explore the Bikini Bottom and advance through the story, all while helping Mr. Krabs find new restaurants to explore and decorate!

    Hi there, “by completing level” to unlock new restaurant, does it mean to have the full score of the pearls? Or just show as “Complete”? As I had all completed but still can’t unlock the Kelp city. Or do I need to buy or purchase something as there is a “$” dollar sign showing.

    I’m having the same issue! I thought the DLC for New Kelp City released today but it’s still locked?!

    I've got the T_T answer from them last year as i'm sharing with you now ..... "The Switch version of the game only includes the first two worlds (Bikini Bottom and Goo Lagoon), so you won't be able to play at New Kelp City at the moment unless you play the mobile version of the game. We're still preparing New Kelp City DLC for its launch on Switch as well "

    Just so you know and you may feel better that I have bought the Nintendo switch for this GAME so I won't get unsaved or any burden like from FB/ Computer Hahahaaa+ '><' Crying me

    Thanks so much for letting me know! I already purchased the digital download then purchased a physical copy thinking it would make a difference but glad to know now so I can return the physical copy and get my money back. I’ll just play the game on my iPad for now. Don’t worry there is plenty of other Nintendo Switch games that are fun to play!
