How can I remove signs and expand new lands?

Along the edges of Bikini Bottom, you will find signs of territory expansion. Use land expansion items to unlock new areas.
You can receive items for land expansion by completing Bull Worm deliveries. Bull Worm delivery will be found as you progress through the game and unlock new territories.

Please note that the amount of new land expansion areas available is defined by how many exploration points you have.
