Why is the location on the map closed?

The location can be closed for two reasons:

1. You have not reached this location yet, as locations open one by one. You will be able to open this location as soon as you complete the previous ones.

2. You have already completed this location. When you open a new location, the previous one will be closed after the time on it runs out. This means that you have completed all the available quests and you are ready for new adventures.
