How do I get three Suns on a level?

The Suns are based on high score, completely exclusive from the objectives. It is possible to complete all objectives with moves remaining but not receive three Suns.

The score needed is indicated by the bar at the top of the screen in each level. The higher score you get before completing the objectives is what determines how many Suns you receive.
